Use of cookies

Lawic Abogados S.L. (hereinafter, Lawic) may use cookies when a User visits its website. Cookies are files sent to the browser through a web server for the purpose of recording activities of the User in the website. In this case, the cookies used by Lawic are linked only to anonymous Users and their computers, without furnishing the User’s name and/or surname. The cookies are also used to measure the audience and traffic parameters and to control the progress and number of visits. Users may configure their browsers to issue a warning on the screen when they receive cookies and prevent them from being installed in their hard disks.

Activity file (log)

The Lawic web servers automatically detect the IP address and domain name of the Users. All this information is recorded in a log in the server which permits the subsequent processing of the data for the purpose of obtaining statistics informing about the number of times the pages are printed, number of visits made to the online services, etc.

Third party contents in iFrames

Lawic is not responsible for third-party contents presented in iFrames. The iFrames only provide access to such contents from the Lawic website, without Lawic claiming their authorship, exclusivity and/or being responsible for their diffusion. For this purpose Lawic declines all liability for any damages caused by accessing those contents, information, publicity, opinions, concepts and images furnished to Users which are contrary to the law, ethics, good faith and public law and order or which infringe intellectual or industrial property rights or contain computer viruses or similar software routines. Should Lawic discover that any of the contents, opinions and concepts posted in its website are contrary to the law, ethics, good faith and public law and order, or contain any computer viruses or similar software routines, it will eliminate them immediately.

Users undertake to use the website in accordance with the law, ethics and with generally-accepted best practices and public law and order.

Intellectual property of the contents

The texts (information, concepts, opinions and other similar items) and graphic elements (design, logos, source code and other similar elements) comprising the website and disseminated by it and their presentation and assembly are the exclusive property of Lawic, or Lawic holds the right of use over such elements through signing agreements with third parties. Users are permitted to copy the contents of its website for the sole purpose of storing them, making backup copies or printing them out on paper for private use. Aside from the above, it is forbidden to copy, distribute, transform or present all or any part of the content of this website or any of its elements directly or indirectly through computer networks or using similar carriers for commercial use addressed to the public or for any use other than those set out above, even if mentioning the source, without the express written consent of Lawic. Breach of the foregoing will give Lawic the right to take the pertinent legal actions.
